About Club 2-5

Built from science.
Designed for impact.

Club 2-5 is a Brazilian DeepTech created to transform scientific knowledge into technologies, platforms and applied solutions across human, animal and environmental health.

Our thesis

Discovery is only the beginning.

Scientific knowledge creates its greatest value when it can move beyond discovery.

Club 2-5 was built around this principle: connecting rigorous research with technology development, data, engineering and business strategy to create solutions capable of reaching real-world applications.

Our role is to help build the translational bridge between scientific evidence and impact.

How we think

Three principles guide our work.

01SCIENCE

Evidence first.

Scientific rigor, experimentation and validation form the foundation of every technology we develop.

02TECHNOLOGY

Build beyond discovery.

Research findings become technologies through structured development, iteration and validation.

03IMPACT

Designed for the real world.

Technology creates value when it can move beyond the laboratory and generate measurable impact.

One Health

Health is interconnected.

Human, animal and environmental health are part of the same biological system.

This perspective guides how Club 2-5 identifies problems, develops technologies and evaluates their potential impact.

Translational mindset

Science with a destination.

Club 2-5 combines scientific thinking with technology development and entrepreneurial execution.

We approach research not only by asking what can be discovered, but also what can be validated, translated, deployed and eventually scaled.

The 2–5 Principle

Two purposes. Five pillars. One institution.

The name Club 2-5 carries the institutional logic that shapes everything we do.

01 — Our 2 purposes

01Purpose

Science.

Transform scientific knowledge into technologies, products and real-world applications that can reach the people and systems that need them.

02Purpose

Impact.

Connect knowledge to impact, bridging science, technology and business to generate measurable value across human, animal and environmental health.

02 — Our 5 pillars

01Research & Development

Scientific research and development of technologies and evidence-based solutions.

02Translational Innovation

Transforming scientific discoveries into applicable technologies, products and solutions.

03AI & Data Intelligence

Applying artificial intelligence, data and computational approaches to accelerate research, support decision-making and develop intelligent solutions.

04Knowledge & Capacity Building

Building capabilities and transferring scientific and technological knowledge into practice.

05Social Impact

Creating measurable impact across human, animal and environmental health.

The 2–5 Framework

Two ideas. Five decision points. One path forward.

Ideas do not automatically become projects. They advance through evidence-based evaluation and strategic decision-making.

Behind the name

Why Club 2-5?

A curiosity behind our name.

C2 Explains

“Want to know where one of the inspirations behind the name Club 2-5 came from?”

One of the inspirations behind the Club 2-5 name is a free reference to The Thursday Murder Club, Richard Osman’s work later adapted for the screen.

In the story, four protagonists with different experiences and abilities combine their skills to investigate and solve complex problems.

At Club 2-5, we bring that inspiration into another territory: science, technology and innovation.

We connect professionals with complementary and integrative skills to transform different perspectives into solutions for real-world challenges, particularly within the One Health ecosystem.

But we added something to our own story.

Here, there is a fifth permanent protagonist: Artificial Intelligence.

AI agents are progressively incorporated into our processes as a layer supporting analysis, knowledge organization and decision-making.

For Club 2-5, AI is not simply a technological tool. It is part of a vision of intelligence-augmented governance, where people, science, data and technology work together to support more informed, intentional and impact-oriented decisions.
